Details Tour :

Day 1 – 

We will meet you at your Marrakech riad or hotel at 8am, depart Marrakech and transport over the High Atlas mountains Tizi nTichka pass(2260 m), taking time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes, and have coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice. 

We’ll take a side road visit to tour World Heritage Site Ait Benhaddou. This village of clustered Berber Kasbahs has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films and was one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory and salt from Saharan Africa to Marrakech and beyond. Stay this night in Ait Benhaddou() or you can continue to over-night in the pre-Sahara city(ouarzazat) depending of your choice

Day 2 – 

After breakfast our next destination is Dades valley. You will pass the palmery of skoura with the possibility to visit an old Kasbah (Kasbah de skoura),the rose valley where you can have short walk with ur driver ,and many Berber villages ,and see riverside oasis, and barren red rock formations clustered with kasbahs (fortified dwellings that house many families and their livestock).

Stay in Dades Gorge hotel (Hotel la valley) with time permitting you can take walk through the gorge cut.

Day 3 – 

you can wake up early in the morning to catch the sun rise in Dades Gorge,and then head toward the desert of Er Chibi ,on the way your driver you will take a detour to give you the chance to One of the most beautiful landscapes in Morocco, rich in colours, You will be impressed by the height of gorges (300 m), The narrow valley is lined with palmery.

next you will continue toward Merzouga through the city of Fossil(Er foud) and the Tafilalet/Er rissani town(ex-capital of the caravans rout trading point) ,once you arrive to your little desert hotel, you will over night in hotel where you can enjoy the swimming pool payable locally

Day 4 – 

after waking up ,having breakfast ,your driver will be waiting to you in tour to explore the desert for the day. in the desert the driver will take you to visit the fossil bed. and the musician village ,with the chance you can meet Nomad family who lives in nomad woven tent, share cap of tea with them ,and with option ,the driver can take you to visit the town of ER Rissani .

once you reach your hotel in the edge of the dunes ,the camel men will take you in 1/2 hours camel trek into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes during the sunset. You will spend the evening in a bivouac (camp), nothings to do with the civilisation, and feel the quite of endless vast dunes and feeling of space and solitude .

enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, and sleep in traditional Nomad camel hair tent.

Day 5 – 

If you wake up early enough, you can watch the spectacle of the sunrise, when the colour of the dunes and the play of shadows are an awesome sight. The return to Merzouga is on camel-back, which takes about two hours.

It is possible to stop at a hotel here to freshen up under a shower .and depart for long days drive to Fez, travelling through the Ziz Gorges into the Middle Atlas mountains.

You can stop in the alpine town of Ifrane , before descending to the hilly lowlands where the ancient city of Fez is situated. We can arrange for your stay in a traditional old riad in the heart of the Fez medina and arrange for a guide for the next day if you wish.
