Details Tour :

Day 1 – Marrakech- Tizi N Tichka-Ait benhaddou-Ouarzazat  

We will meet you at your Marrakech Riad or hotel at 9am, depart Marrakech and transport over the High Atlas Mountains Tizi nTichka pass (2260 m), taking time to stop and enjoy impressive landscapes, and have coffee and fresh-squeezed orange juice. We’ll take a side road visit to the Berber village of Telouet; visit the World Heritage Site Ait Benhaddou. This village of clustered Berber Kasbahs has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films and was one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory and salt from Saharan Africa to Marrakech and beyond. Stay this night in Ait Benhaddou (or you can continue to over-night in the pre-Sahara city (Ouarzazat) depending of your choice

Day 2 – Ouarzazat-Skoura-M’Gouna-Dades

After breakfast our next destination is Dades valley. You will pass the palmary of skoura with the possibility to visit an old Kasbah(Kasbah de skoura),the rose valley where you can have short walk with your driver ,and many Berber villages ,and  see riverside oasis, and barren red rock formations clustered with Kasbahs (fortified dwellings that house many families and their livestock). Stay in Dades Gorge hotel (Hotel la valley) with time permitting you can take walk through the gorge cut.

Day 3 – Dades  – Toudra Gorges – Tinjdad – Touroug – Erfoud – Merzouga

 

After breakfast, you will  then head toward the desert of Erg Chebbi ,on the way your driver you will take a detour to give you the chance to One of the most beautiful landscapes in Morocco(Todgha Gorge), rich in colors, You will be impressed by the height of gorges (300 m), The narrow valley is lined with palmery. Next you will continue toward Merzouga through the city of Fossil(Er foud) and the Tafilalet /Er rissani town (ex-capital of the caravans rout trading point), once you arrive to your little desert hotel, you will over night in hotel where you can enjoy the swimming pool (payable locally)

Day 4 : Merzouga – Merzouga

After waking up, having breakfast, your driver will be waiting to take you in tour to explore the desert for the day. visit the fossil bed. and the musician village in the ex-slave village, with the chance you can meet Nomad family and visit their tent to learn about their life style and how the manage to survive in such deadly area , share cap of tea with them, and with available time, the driver can take you to visit the town of ER Rissani .once you reach your hotel in the edge of the dunes ,the camel men will take you in 1/2 hours camel trek  into the beautiful Erg Chebbi Dunes during the sunset. You will spend the evening in bivouac (camp), , and feel the quite of endless vast dunes and feeling of space and solitude .enjoy a traditional Berber dinner, and sleep in traditional Nomad tent.

Day 5 – Merzouga – Rissani – Alnif – Tazarine – Nkoub – Draa Valley – Agdez – Zagora

Early morning departure  towards the huge palm grove of Tafilalet passing by Rissani (the Alaouite Dynasty and the capital city of ancient Alaouite Sultans). Way towards Alnif, lunch on the spot. In the afternoon, way to Tazarine, Nkob and Tansihkt where we take the track that goes through the sublime Draa Valley and its procession of palm trees. Continue towards Zagora . Dinner and night in the hotel.

Day 6:Zagoura Ait Benhaddou

After Breakfast, meave Zagora and  follow the Draa Valley, and the oasis all alonge the side road with its Palm trees.,pass through Ouarzazat, and contunie toward Ait Benhaddou to over night in converted Kasbah on HB.

Day 6 – Ait Benhaddou – Telouet – Marrakech: 

9am take the original trade route through the Ounila Valley, and over the original mountain of Tizi-n-Telouet, to Telouet via Animeter and the pink salt mines.  Tour of the abandoned and crumbling Kasbah of el Glaoui, former Berber War Lord and Pasha of Marrakech.  Lunch in Telouet and continue to Marrakech to arrive early evening
