Reservations

When you make a booking for a tour with Morocco Travel book (referred to as “we” or “us” in these terms and conditions), you are acknowledging and accepting these conditions on behalf of yourself and all individuals who will be utilizing our services under a booking made by you.

Booking Procedures & Payments

Upon reaching an agreement regarding the quoted itinerary and price, we will generate a comprehensive itinerary and invoice that includes payment details. Your booking will be officially confirmed upon receipt of a 25% deposit based on the invoice.

To facilitate convenient payment, we offer various options:

  • Wire Transfer: You can make payments via wire transfer.
  • Checks: We accept checks payable in US dollars.
  • Major Credit Cards: Payments can be made using major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discovery.
  • PayPal: We also accept payments made through PayPal.

Choose the method that suits you best, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free payment process.

Changes to your booking

We strive to accommodate any amendments to your booking without incurring additional charges. However, please note that for travel within 15 days of the trip’s start date, making changes may not be feasible.

If you require modifications, we kindly request you to contact us as soon as possible and provide written confirmation of your request. While we will make every effort to accommodate your changes without any extra fees, we cannot guarantee this possibility.

In the event that it is not possible to make changes to your booking for any reason, you will have two options: proceed with your holiday as originally booked or opt to cancel the booking, subject to the cancellation charges outlined below.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your travel arrangements, we kindly request that you inform us in writing as soon as possible. The cancellation charge is determined based on the number of days we receive your written cancellation notice before the start of your travel.

Cancellation charges are as follows:

  • If you cancel more than 21 days before the tour departure: Only the deposit will be charged.
  • If you cancel less than 20 days before the tour departure: There will be no refund (0% refund).

Please ensure to provide written notice of your cancellation promptly, allowing us to process your request and provide any applicable refunds or necessary arrangements.

Unforeseen Circumstances

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we may need to cancel your tour or trek. If such a situation arises, we will refund all the payments made by you, including the deposit. However, we are not liable to provide any additional compensation.

Unforeseen circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural or nuclear disasters, war or threat of war, riots, terrorism, fire, adverse weather conditions, and other similar events.

While we make every effort to ensure the smooth operation of our tours and treks, there are instances beyond our control where cancellation becomes necessary. In such cases, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients and strive to offer appropriate refunds for any inconvenience caused.

Special Requests

To ensure a safe and enjoyable holiday experience, it is important to communicate any special requirements related to your booking in writing before making a reservation. These requirements may include dietary restrictions, medical needs, wheelchair assistance, or any other pertinent information. We will promptly relay this information to our suppliers to make appropriate arrangements.

In the event that there are special requests that we are unable to fulfill, we will inform you in writing prior to finalizing your trip reservation. Our goal is to accommodate all your preferences, including specific hotel choices, locations, bed configurations, and other relevant considerations. However, please note that no compensation will be provided if such requests cannot be fully fulfilled.

By providing us with your preferences and special requirements ahead of time, we aim to customize your holiday experience as closely as possible to your expectations.

Insurance

We do not provide any insurance. It is your full responsibility to obtain appropriate comprehensive holiday travel insurance.
We strongly encourage you to have travel insurance in case of illness, cancellation, baggage lost, delays and others.

Our responsibility

In the event that any aspect of your travel arrangements deviates from the description provided at the time of booking and fails to meet reasonable standards, we accept liability. We are committed to providing reasonable compensation, up to the maximum amount paid to us for that specific portion of the travel arrangements, unless the issue arises without any fault on our part or on the part of our suppliers.

However, it is important to note that we do not assume any responsibility for personal injury, illness, damage, death, or loss incurred during your trip. Please refer to the Insurance section above for further information on securing appropriate insurance coverage.

Travel Documentation

As a participant of the tour, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that you possess valid and required travel documents. Prior to entering the country, it is essential that your passport remains valid for at least 6 months. This includes adhering to any passport and visa requirements that may be necessary for your travel.

We emphasize that it is your personal obligation to verify and meet all passport and visa requirements well in advance of your departure. Ensuring compliance with these regulations is crucial, and we recommend taking the necessary steps to obtain the appropriate documents to avoid any issues during your travel.

Privacy & Confidentiality

We assume full responsibility for implementing appropriate security measures to safeguard the privacy and confidentiality of the information you provide us during the booking process.

The information collected from you will be used solely for the purpose of making reservations with hotels and other necessary third parties to arrange your travel requirements. In order to ensure your safety and enhance your holiday experience, we may share specific details regarding dietary preferences, medical requirements, or disabilities with relevant suppliers. By making a booking with us, you consent to the disclosure of this information to the appropriate individuals or entities involved in your travel arrangements.

We prioritize the protection and appropriate handling of your personal information, and we assure you that it will be used solely for the purpose of facilitating your travel and ensuring your well-being during your holiday.

Complaints

If, by any chance, you encounter a situation where you feel the need to file a complaint, we kindly request that you promptly contact your driver, hotel staff, or guide. They will make every effort to address and resolve the issue immediately. However, if resolving the complaint on the spot is not feasible, please provide us with written details of your complaint.

We value your feedback and are committed to addressing any concerns or issues you may have. By promptly communicating your complaint to the appropriate parties, we can work towards finding a satisfactory resolution to ensure your continued satisfaction with our services.
